Dr. Travis Allan is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Uintah Basin and Northwestern Colorado. Dr. Allan was born and raised in Vernal, Utah graduating from Uintah high school in 1991. Once Dr. Allan returned home from his L.D.S. mission to Los Angeles (mandarin chinese), he decided that he wanted to help people by treating the "whole body" not just the disease, this is why he went to Chiropractic school. Dr. Allan set out attending Ricks College on a football scholarship and later attended the University of Utah completing Pre-med education whereupon he was accepted to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. Dr. Allan graduated from NWHSU in 2002 with a bachelors degree in human biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic medicine. He then returned home where he has been practicing since.
Dr. Travis Allan and his wife Tauna have four beautiful children, Kaelan, Marcus, Lyndee and Bryson. Dr. Allan's passions, besides his commitments to his family and improving the health and well-being of his community include, coaching high school football at Uintah High School, competing in triathlons, camping and atv riding.
Dr. Allan constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of Chiropractic and pain management. He has completed some of the most extensive post-graduate study available emphasizing the newest and latest treatment and rehabiltation of whiplash injuries, headache, neck and back pain. Dr. Allan uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Allan is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
